While I think a trip to the spa is a wonderful treat, it is, for me, also a high calorie occurrence, requiring funds and time that make it a sweet but rare indulgence. Yet taking care of my skin is very high on my self-care list because, simply put, a healthy complexion is generally a more happy and confident one. The ingredient list and prep time for this all natural facial is short, but the results are refreshing and beautiful. Try it for yourself!
- 1 Teaspoon Honey
- 1 Teaspoon Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 Egg Yolk
Combine ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Apply to face, avoiding eye area, in massaging circular motions. Once applied, leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Tip: To heighten your at-home spa experience, dim the lights, turn on some calming tunes and lay in relaxation while your face mask is doing its duty. Personally, I prefer to tune out, put in my earbuds and turn on my “Power Nap with Andrew Johnson” app–the background music and his accent really enhance the “ah” factor.
